Why Plum Passion?

For the love of everything Purple, of course!

Kimberly and I were brainstorming a name for this page dedicated to my love of purple. We went back and forth a few times and finally landed on Plum Passion. I liked it because it's a pun. When the word Plum is used as slang it means filled to the brim. I chose it because I'm full of passion for the color purple.

My love for purple began when I was quite young. I remember one of my first purple purchases was a zipper purse made from shiny vinyl that had a satiny braided cord for a shoulder strap. I think it was made by Jordache. After that came the velcro tennis shoes, tinkerbell cosmetics, nail polish, clothing, and on it went. I can't really pinpoint why I like it so much, I guess because it's a color that shifts with mood easily. Light for those springy cheery days and middle for just about any mood and very dark for sympathy and sad days. It just works. If you don't care for purple, there's no need to go any further. This is a quick photo of _only_ my purple gel pens. I have a collection of all colors, but since this page features purple, I figured I'd remove them from the box and take a quick snapshot of them!

My-Illusion skin

I made this skin for the message board that Leony, Birgit and I ran for over a year. It took me several days to get all the images just right and I was quite proud of it. We've since closed the board due to our loss of interest and time. I took a screenshot to share since it's purple.

Purple Passion Punch

1 - 12 oz can grape juice concentrate
1 - 2 liter bottle Ginger Ale
1/2 gallon raspberry sherbert
A little blue food color to get purple color
Add Ice
Optional - add Rum as desired.
